Interfacing: Unless you use a particularly stable fabric, you will need a scrap of lightweight interfacing for the hip pockets and neck facing.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Light/medium woven fabrics are required. Fabrics with a good balance of structure and drape are ideal. Examples include cotton poplin, cotton lawn and linen. Fabrics with more drape such as rayon and some silks are beautiful but the end fit will be a little more relaxed. Stiffer/thicker fabrics result in a more structured dress which can look fabulous. Soft fabrics such as double gauze or muslin will create a very relaxed, comfortable, casual dress.
